What's your prediction/speculation for Breaking Bad?

Asked by Michael_Huntington (15982points) August 19th, 2013

What do you think will happen in the series finale? Who’s next on Walt/Heisenberg’s “send to Belize” list? Will Jesse talk and be the missing piece Hank is looking for? Will Gus Fring come back from the dead and haunt Walt? What’s the deal with the color yellow?!?!?!

I have been totally wrong with all my predictions so far so I won’t even try.

But waiting for Sundays is killing me. I wish I had not watched any of them so I could just bang them out on the Sunday before the finale.

Someone will probably die.

Todd is taking over the Heisenberg cooking business, which is going to make Walter Insane. Jesse is going to agree to testify, which is going to make Skylar whack him, via Saul, not Walt. She will get caught. The kids go to Marie.

Walt buys the M60 and goes on a suicide mission to kill Lydia and the drug empire. He kills them all, then dies of cancer broken and alone.

The Color thing I think people are reading too much into. I get the shades of the particular color yellow gets darker as the characters get more evil, I don’t think the colors themselves mean much.

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought Interesting, but why would Todd taking over the business make Walt insane if he was indifferent to Lydia’s complaints of the meth quality in last week’s episode? And yeah, I can see Skyler killing Jesse to save her ass.

Have you met Walt? His sin is pride. He is happy as hell nobody is as good as him at cooking.

What happens when he goes to Lydia or Saul about something and he hears that Todd is cooking at the same level he was?

omgomg i am currently in a Breaking Bad frenzy I am catching up on season 5 right now and got stuck at work for an extra hour tonight because I got into a heated discussion about the show with a regular at the bar. This question really excited me and I had to share that. I am about to watch the remaining episodes on Netflix which is only a few and then get really up to date. I am so obsessed…but since i’m set back a few I won’t make a prediction, because I’ll sound like a dummy. But where I am, Hank still doesn’t know about Walt, and I am FREAKING OUT EVERY TIME THEY HAVE AN INTERACTION!!!

Walter Jr is going to be killed as extortion to get Walt to cooperate. Skyler is going to get Heisinberg’s notes back from Hank, and use them to team up with Lydia to run the empire – after she and Walter eliminate Todd. Hank’s failure to come clean with the department will mean he’s implicated, and he and Marie will go to Belize – for real – with money Skyler provides them to live out their lives in hiding. Jesse will start a new life, with nothing, no money, no friends, haunted by his past. Saul will ride off into the sunset in a cadillac with a babe, the only one to emerge unscathed by the entire thing (lawyer, no conscience).

@GoldieAV16 WOw very intriguing prediction. I am now caught up. But what about Walt? You think he is just going to die in cancer? Is that being implied?
