How do I isolate the last image in the following site in order to post an OP about it?

Asked by flo (13313points) August 20th, 2013

Instead of posting this link:
http://twistedsifter.com/2013/08/maps-that-will-help-you-make-sense-of-the-world/
I want to post the question:
“where is that?” How do I isolate any of the images, not just that one.
I am looking for something like a permalink but for images. Or is there no choice but to describe the image “the one with the moon“_…, or _“the one between… and the….”, _“scroll down to…“_etc.

Do you know a website that takes care of this need?

Right click the image you want and click “view this image” from the menu. It will open it up in another tab and you can copy the link and post it here.

@flip86 The “view this image” is greyed out.

I tried it in both Safari and Firefox and right-clicking worked for me.

Here is a link to the image.

Hey, @flip86, thanks for the tip. I never knew how to do this. :-)

Depending on your browser, you may be offered different choices when you right-click.

In Chrome, one of the choices that I get is “copy image URL”. Select that, then you can either open a new browser window or tab and Ctrl-V or paste the image URL into that address block to view the image only.

I think Firefox offers a “View Image” choice, which essentially does the same thing.

I appreciate it, all.
I wonder what made the “view this image” grey.
