How long does pain last after a talonavicular fusion?

Since the operation is designed to relieve chronic pain, it is a matter of getting past the post operative pain, three to five days. And then be aware of possible pain from inadvertent weight bearing on the affected foot. If you bang your foot or put weight on it because you are falling, it can hurt for a day or two more.

I am 2 weeks post talonavicular fusion, my pain is worse than pre op. I feel like my foot is in a vice. Is this pain normal at this stage?
