PayPal Gurus: Why can I no longer access my bank debit card for checkout?

Ever since I activated my PayPal Debit card I can no longer access my Bank Debit card with checkout items.

My only options now are, PayPal Balance, PayPal Bill Me Later, PayPal Debit card, eCheck Bank Account (which takes oh so long to confirm back and forth, think of sending a check by mail, it takes that long to process thus takes longer to get my items).

I used to pay with my Bank Debit card through PayPal and it would subtract the funds from my bank account right away. Please help!

I’ve heard of other people with this issue, but never really looked into it, but they also got a paypal debit or credit card

Paypal locked you into using their service where they get a cut. They have never been know to be ethical so this should come as no surprise.

Close your account. Figure something else out. If you are just buying you don’t need a Paypal account.

Not sure how recently this occurred but I’ve had similar problems with other websites recently accessing them using IE10. If you are using IE10 try running in “Compatibility Mode” and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise I would suggest you contact the folks at Pay Pal. Good luck.

I called them, they said I have to either transfer out my PayPal balance to my bank account or use it to make an instant payment purchase.
