Would this freak you out?

Asked by flip86 (6213points) September 19th, 2013

Here

My girlfriend would be freaked at first but she’d probably laugh about it after. It doesn’t phase me a bit. I don’t understand the outrage. Would you be outraged or would you find it funny?

Omg yes! I’m not a fan of clowns and that one looks like Pennywise.

What’s the matter kid, don’t you like clowns? Why? Don’t we make ya laugh, aren’t we fuckin’ funny? You best come up with an answer because I’m gonna be checking up on you and your muma. And if you don’t have a reason why you hate clowns, I’m gonna kill your whole fuckin’ family. ~ Captain Spalding

I rest my case. lol

@Katniss Word. That clown really did look like Pennywise.

Yes, I would be kind of freaked out, because what are his motives for even doing that? He obviously knew that it would freak people out. But I hate clowns nonetheless, and it freaks me out regardless.

Yes, not a clown fan. That book/ movie traumatized me!

They all float down here.

I wouldn’t like this at all as clowns spook me out.

Of course he could be trying out costumes for that wretched Ronald McDonald but I doubt it.

I think I’d go up and talk to the guy. Maybe he’d talk back to me, maybe not. Anyway, it shouldn’t be difficult to find out who the guy is.

I don’t find clowns scary or funny.

Clowns are creeps, and should be treated as such.

I agree, Clowns are evil.
My daughter who is almost 26 was highly traumatized at around age 4 when my ex’s grandma let her watch “It.” I was so f——king mad! Way to go granny, fanged clowns that kill children coming out of the sewer.

Jesus…I couldn’t believe this unassuming 80 year old woman would have such poor judgement. lol

Katniss's avatar

She watched It when she was 4??????
I would have had grandma’s head on a stake!
What the hell? lol

Coloma's avatar

@Katniss No shit..I was livid! haha

Katniss's avatar

@Coloma Rightfully so!! Did you rip her a new one??

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

@Coloma Oh man. My sister made me watch “It” with her when I was 6.
Pennywise…scaring real life children since 1990.

I wouldn’t be scared, just a little uncomfortable. However, I’m sure I would stand there staring back at it. I have no problems with clowns. Yes, I watched “It” but I was 13 when I first saw the movie. However, if the damn thing started following me, then yes; I would be scared especially if it had a chainsaw.

I’d not heard of this until @KNOWITALL told me about it the other day.
It’s a decent prank but he looks pretty fucking creepy.

DWW25921's avatar

That amused me. I’d be the guy standing in the back watching others freak out laughing at them. It’s my way.

I have not had any direct interactions with any real clowns since I was about 6 years old. That’s over 50 years ago. I guess I would be surprised but not scared to come in contact with one who was not doing anything to hurt or intentionally terrorize others.

What’s the big deal? I’ve always enjoyed dressing up in costumes. It probably pleases him when people wave back. What on earth do you who are bothered by this do on Halloween? Turn out the lights and go to bed with the covers pulled up over your heads? On the other hand, I’ve never gone to a horror movie. I know I’d be scared shitless.

jonsblond's avatar

It would freak me out if he was staring into windows, but he’s just waving. He’s harmless. I’d probably smile, giggle, then wave back if I saw him.

How am I supposed to go to sleep now?
