Why do you lurve fluther so much?

It’s the people I’ve got to know here that keeps me coming back. And the interaction with people in ways that would be impossible without the web. I can talk with someone from Australia or anywhere else in the world as easily as I can to someone down the hall. Maybe easier than I can down the hall. My floor of the building is very quiet.

Why do you?

For me personally, I’ve enjoyed learning from people that are not in my area and have different outlooks on different things. There are both negative and positive’s to fluther, but in general the knowledge is worth it for me.

And like @Adirondack says, there are a few people here whom I care for and respect.

I’m just curious, nothing personal, Just wondering. ucme because fluther is always full of life and I’m sure you’ve made me chuckle a few times…

But you seem to be placing way too much importance on that bullshit they call lurve.

@jungle_girl The amount of knowledge here is also impressive. If you have a football question ucme is your guy. If you need engineering help, luckyguy is amazing. If you want language help gailcalled is the one. A radio question, Knowitall works in one. The list goes on.

Oh I get it… umce… is this a pissing contest?? okay.. you win… My intentions were sincere… I wasn’t trying to attack anyone… guess my curiosity got the best of me…

I guess Fluther could be a good ego trip for some. I think it’s wonderful site.

So why not post more often, you seem like fun?

It fulfills my knowledge seeking personalty style, intellectual needs and interaction needs to break bread with other bright and diverse humans. The pool of interesting and intelligent people in my real life has dwindled the last 5 years and fluther provides a stimulating outlet.
It is a fun community of bright people and feels like home. :-)

I love the community, and I love answering questions. Where else would I go?

It’s interesting, informative, stimulating and fun. And you meet the nicest (and sometimes weirdest) jellies.

I love learning and I love the people.

It’s not the lurve that keeps me coming back, it’s the people.

I love to write. I especially love to craft a good question. I like to make words come together in inventive ways, and there are some people on this site who reply in like-minded ways.

I like words, and there are few places on the Internet where I can find a group of people who use them as well and some do here.

I’m also a big fan of the nekkid pancake parties.

It satisfies my never ending curiosity about people without feeling like I’m snooping.

I asked the nurse to give you this book so you could finish it. The doctor came in a while ago and gave me the news but I already knew it anyway. I keep getting tireder and tireder. Listen, I don’t mind dying now. It was worth it. It was worth saving those Jellies. Their lives are worth more than mine. They have more to live for. Some of the Mods came by to thank me and I know it was worth it. Tell @ucme it was worth it. I’m just gonna miss you guys. I’ve been thinking about it, and that poem. That guy that wrote it, he meant you are gold when you’re a Jelly, like green. When you’re a Jelly everything is new, dawn. It’s just when you get used to everything it’s day. Like the way you dig sunsets, Fluther. That’s Gold. Keep it that way. It’s a good way to be. I want you to tell @ucme to look at one. He’ll probably think you’re crazy, but ask for me. I don’t think he’s ever really seen a sunset. And don’t be bugged over being an agnostic. You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want. There’s still a lot of good in the world. Tell @ucme. I don’t think he knows.

I’m going to let that slide, because clearly you’re three parts pissed @Blondesjon, have one for me.

It makes me laugh, teaches me new things, and keeps me entertained for hours.

I really don’t. But there are some people with whom I enjoy conversation.

I don’t get that much out of it as it is just one more site on my rounds and not the most important site either.

Still, it helps round out my site flitting time.

I love the people here. I enjoy many questions I haven’t even left messages on.

I love being associated with so many of the people who comprise the community. I love answering questions where I feel my viewpoints or knowledge may advance the discussion.
