Comfort & fashion, that’s it.

Comfort/fit and price, with an occasional expensive impulse purchase to spice up my very boring wardrobe.

Other, colour, fit, need, price, comfort, fashion

I can’t remember the last time I bought any clothes. My wife loves to shop as much as I don’t. She know my sizes and tastes and unless I specifically ask her to keep an eye out for something will just purchase them if they are a good deal. I can tell you her criteria is:

Price
need
comfort
fit
color
fashion
other

I take that back. I remembered I needed a new pair of running shoes about two months ago and went out and bought them. For that it was:

need
price
comfort/fit
color
fashion
other.

Hi, I’m Picante, and I’m addicted to clothes. I’m typically shopping to satisfy a specific need; I might have a formal occasion on the horizon; or I’ve gained so much weight, my jeans won’t zip ;-)

Style is quite important to me, but I’d say the fit—how it looks on me rather than the skinny-ass mannequin—is most important. I certainly look at the price tag, and the cost must relate to the quality.\

For me, it’s need, price, color, comfort, fit, fashion.

Comfort, fit, price, need (although, admittedly, sometimes I try to skirt this one; I am on a tight budget at the moment though), other: style (as in does this fit my personal style and will it work with the other items currently in my wardrobe?), color, fashion.

Color (I won’t wear yellow or orange regardless of all the other factors – unless maybe I’m intentionally trying to look like a zombie).
Fit (which encompasses comfort and style).
Price (I try it on and then decide how much it is ‘worth’ to me. Then I look at the price and if it’s over my pre-determined value, I won’t get it).
Need? Well, being plus-size it’s hard to find quality pieces – especially for work, so I always need something. Since I detest shopping, I’m not even looking unless I’m in particular need.

It can’t make me look worse than I already do. I guess that encompasses fit and color. Price is also important to me.

Price, Need, Comfort, Fit, I couldn’t care less about fashion or even color.

Right now, I can only afford to buy clothes when I really need them, but they have to look good and be comfy. I’m no fashionista, but my ass always looks good in my jeans because I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise. I’m very picky about the fit of my clothes. I’ve bought enough clothes that never got worn to know that I shouldn’t buy a clothing item unless I absolutely love it.

Other; if it’s not chainmail, I’ve no need of it.

Sunny2's avatar

^^Do you polish it? Or does it just rus? What metal do you prefer? What design do you prefer for the helmet? Feathered or no?

Berserker's avatar

I polish it with the blood of my enemies. The metal is platinum, forged in wyrmfire. And the helmet has horns. :D

^^^ I love it! I have a purple scarf that would look great with it.

Veganism. No leather, wool, or fur.

This is much easier during warm weather, when cotton’s most prevalent and there’s no need for coats, scarves, or gloves. But, I recently found a fabulous source for faux-wool coats – Vaute Couture. I’ve already bought two coats for the upcoming winter, and they’re both attractive, stylish, and well-made.
