What does "she acts like a Jewish mother" mean in your view?

Neurotic, meddling, overbearing, over protecting, controlling, guilt tripping, hypochondriac, all in all….a miserable mental wretch. lol

Haha…well….my mother was not Jewish but I used to call her a Jewish mother.
Jeesh…it’s a wonder my lungs didn’t atrophy from all the smothering. lol

Add obessessed with appearances (what “they” say you should be wearing this season), eager to interrupt, unwilling to knock before entering, tactless and not happy that you might be part of decisions made about you.
