Is there a legal way of watching CNBC for free?

Asked by Joe_Freeman (504points) October 19th, 2013

My friend can’t afford to pay for cable TV and, besides, he only wants to watch one channel, CNBC. Is there a way he can get the programs on that channel on his TV or his computer without paying anything? He does not need the shows in real time but he does need them within a few hours of when they are broadcast.

ITunes has shows like Susie Orman from CNBC for free as podcasts.

I set a lot of MSNBC.com on the web. CNBC.Com has a lot of info on it. I’m not sure about videos from its shows though. It looks like the have an iPad ap too.

I’m in the same boat. I just want BBC and SyFy.

Apart from watching at a friend’s house, no, not really. might see if the shshows he’s interested in are available on Hulu. Eight bucks a month is a lot better than a hundred plus.

This site does live streaming of a lot of stuff. They have a channel for CNBC

It is hit and miss a lot of the time since it pretty much relies on people supply the stream to them from their house. Right now CNBC isn’t working but CNN is. It is worth checking out. I would really suggest installing adblock pro before visiting that site.
