I'm looking for information on rag houses in the Los Angeles area. Can anyone help me out?

Basically these are warehouses filled with 100-pound bales of T-shirts, polo shirts and more, stacked to the ceiling and earmarked for shipment to countries such as Mexico, India and Bolivia.

oh god… There is a lady who did photographs of those and followed them to are what happened to them that I met… If I can find her number I’ll give her a ring and ask.

That would be great. From what it seems, this info tends to be somewhat coveted. You almost have to know someone. I wonder what the photos were like. I’ve heard those places can be very unpleasant, with massive amounts of dust, even ticks at times.

Also mold, mildew, dust mites (bring a magnifying glass and tweezers for the tick issue.)

So I hear, yikes! I better come armed with a mask.

And you are doing this because? (How was bar exam?)

I’m selling vintage clothing and my hunger for new and unique items has nearly exceeded what flea markets, estate sales, and thrift stores can provide.
