Speculation as to the jobs of the fluther creators and their source of income?

Asked by waterskier2007 (2058points) June 25th, 2008

I know that most sites make money by advertising, but there are no ads on fluther, unless I’m missing something. How do you think the guys make money. (creators i guess you can post what your outside jobs are but it takes the fun out of guessing)

@waterskiier, you sure you don’t have AdBlocking of some sort running in your browser? Because they’ve got Google Ads running right under the list of Siblings. ———>

Lurve has become legal tender in Mongolia and they are using it to corner the yak market there and then arbitrage them to China thus reducing our trade deficit.

I would assume they are probably web developers working freelance? I have no real idea, that’s just a guess. Fluther seems more like a labor of love then a cash cow, at least for now.
