Economics in the 1920s script?

Asked by anw15 (7points) November 3rd, 2013

I need to write a script for history about Canada’s economics during the Roaring 1920s. I’m really stuck on how to make it creative and attention grabbing. Please help!

Use your history research to think of some issue that might have been the cause of conflict at the time—political, social, economic, whatever. Any of those areas would have an economic impact.

Then think of two people who would have been on opposite sides in the conflict. Imagine how they would interact if their interests brought them into direct confrontation with one another. What they say and do is your script.

Include information in their dialogue that shows you know something about the historical context.

Canada is pretty diverse. How did the eastern part, especially the province of Quebec interact with the western provinces during that time frame? What other little quirks could you work in? And there’s always hockey.
