You know, I just love Frank Miller’s Dark Knight and The Killing Joke and the like.

Batman got old. He’s done. His body hurts, he’s fought them all, and the city’s not getting better. What? Barbara? Ugh. Ok, I’ll pull on the suit. Risk my life again. I should just kill them all and be done with it.
