What jewelry should I wear?

Asked by Livin4christjess (6points) November 23rd, 2013 from iPhone

I just bought a pair of faux leather legging type pants and a red slightly sparkly sweater…. And I have no idea what kind of jewelry to go with it to wear for Christmas…. Any suggestions?

Gold always looks festive with red.

Plain gold or silver would be a great choice. Red as we know is a very provocative color so just don’t over do it wear minimum jewelry. The color that always goes well with red is green, so you can also opt for emerald jewelry.

I would wear a tiny pair of gold bell earrings, just for the festive look. A very long, thin, gold chain with a simple pendant would trim the red sweater without over decorating it. I wouldn’t want to wear a necklace which only comes down too close to the neckline, because that would draw people’s eyes from the lovely sweater.

I’d stick with simple, black jewelry, maybe an onyx-bead choker and onyx earrings. Your leather-ish pants and sparkly, red top sound like a wonderful combination and fashion statement. The outfit might turn “cheap” and tacky, however, if you add too many accessories. But, if you keep your jewelry pieces subtle, they’ll enhance your look.

(2) When in doubt, leave it out
