Depends on what you’d call old. I like All in the Family and I Love Lucy.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Early to mid seventies or older,so sure they fit the bill nicely.

WKRP in Cincinnati a second vote for M*A*S*H, Good Times and Get Smart. Plus while it cannot be considered top notch television, there will always be a special place in my heart for Gilligan’s Island.

I actually found a torrent for all of the Wonder Years and rewatched it back around 2008. It is still great.

Leave it to Beaver
All in the Family
The Brady Bunch
and the big one….....The Honeymooners!

Pachy's avatar

After thinking about my first answer (Seinfeld) I realized there were/are way, way too many shows over too long a span of time to name one. In fact, there are many dozens including the Honeymooners, Show of Shows, Ernie Kovacs, Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore, Cosby, Frasier (which I still watch), and many more I was reminded of when I looked at this IMDb list.

At my current age and the point to which my sense of humor has evolved, I probably couldn’t watch many of these series with anything much more than nostalgia—in fact, I might be appalled by how silly they really were. But they certainly made me laugh at the time.

Although, I can’t stand it, I’m surprised nobody has mentioned The Three Stooges.

80’s: Designing Women, Cheers, The Wonder Years, The Golden Girls, Newhart, Night Court, Kate and Ally

90’s: The Nanny, Ellen, Grace Under Fire, Murphy Brown, Blossom, Frasier, Seinfeld, Friends, Roseanne, Mad About You, News Radio, Just Shoot Me, The Class

For me, for it to qualify as “old” it has to be off the air.

I Love Lucy

Pachy's avatar

@Valerie111, not long ago I watched two of my favorite Lucy episodes, the one in which she and Harpo Marx revive the classic Harpo-Groucho mirror routine, and the one in which Superman (George Reeves) has to rescue her from the ledge of her apartment building.

Valerie111's avatar

@Pachyderm_In_The_Room The Harpo Marks episode is one of my favorites! I keep picturing when he is trying to trick her and she makes a funny face at him and he jumps away! Seriously, nothing can beat that show.

Pachy's avatar

@Valerie111, just in case you never saw the original mirror routine from “Duck Soup, here it is.

Pachy's avatar

@livelaughlove21, old but still funny. And not altogether dated.
