Got a fantastic recipe for seafood dip? Crab or shrimp?

At Christmas we used to go over to our friends’ house and she’d serve this amazing seafood dip. I couldn’t stop eating it but didn’t want to ask her if she made it or what was in it. After chowing down on it for half an hour she actually whisked it away from the coffee table! She wanted the rest for other guests! So can anybody help me out with either homemade or store bought seafood dip? I remember it was white.
