my cousin gave her daughter a new food each week (once she started on solid foods) - this was great because she always had something new, and my cousin could easily and clearly check for any reactions (allergies or otherwise).

i'm not an expert or a mom, but there are lots of books and websites that list foods you can give at different ages - like this one: http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/solids.htm or http://homecooking.about.com/od/specificfood/a/babyfooddos.htm

my mom used to take dinner and just throw it in the blender and feed it to us. i am a happy, healthy grownup. anecdotal evidence, i realize, but it worked.

I think it's par for the course. Something I can't believe I'm feeing my daughter pasta YET again, but, it's hard to be that creative. That being said, my daughter (16 months) loves above all things Kalamata olives. I just pit them first.

Ask your pediatrician about foods that would be safe. There are alot of foods that should not be given to a baby under a year old. Babies as young as yours don't get "bored" with foods. Make feeding time enjoyable for your baby. Make sure you interact with her, talk, sing, make funny noises.....feeding your baby is a great time for one-on-one bonding!

You can feed your baby anything. Well besides the obvious…peanut butter, some dairy and honey…You can make home made meals for baby. What ever you are having for dinner just toss in a blender to the right consistency (can add water or broth) make sure it isn’t anything spicy!
