Boring question #115: Which is more boring to watch, grass grow, water boil, or paint dry?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) April 13th, 2014

disclaimer –This is a question with no agendas; there is no favor for watching on item boil over the other. It is an easy question where one doesn’t have to think too hard. If the suggested are too boring to watch for this question, you can add your own “too boring to watch” entry, enjoy—.

For the sake of argument the grass is an acre, 1/50th of an acre, it doesn’t matter. The water is in a gallon pot, and the paint is on a wall at least 10ft by 11ft x 7ft high.

Assuming no wind, and no life amongst the grass, then grass growing.

Paint drying, for sure. Unless it’s for artistic purposes, painting is nothing more than a chore.
With grass growing at least you’re outside.
With water boiling, hopefully you’re making something yummy.

Boiling water is actually pretty entertaining compared to the other choices. You can watch as it starts to bubble more and more until it finally reaches the boiling point. The other 2 are equally as boring.

Watching paint dry and to add counting bricks on a wall is another boring waste of time.

Watching boiling water is awesome, especially if someone’s in it. :)

Watching paint dry, unless the paint is in an interesting painting.

Watching water boil isn’t boring so much as frustrating, especially when waiting for that first cuppa in the morning.

Neither.

Instead it’s CNN’s coverage of Flight 370.
