What are the worst things you can pair with driving? What's the worst you're guilty of?

Asked by GloPro (8404points) April 15th, 2014 from iPhone

Believe it or not, daydreaming drivers are still the number one factor in causing accidents. What are some other ways that can distract drivers? What’s the worst you’ve done?

Once, in college, I was driving down an interstate with my roommate small hour-long trek. She had put on her makeup to go out clubbing while I was driving. Somehow we came up with the brilliant idea to change drivers without stopping. I guess it would make a good story? Like a dare, maybe? I put the car in cruise control, lay the seat back, and scooted to the back seat. NO DRIVER!!! Holy shit, we are morons. Tiffany took the wheel and hopped over. To this day I have no idea why we did something so dumb.

I’m also guilty of putting on mascara while driving. Yes, I send short texts at stoplights.

What have you done or what are the dumbest things you can think of to pair with driving?

Driving and oral sex. I was driving, she wasn’t, her mouth was full.

It felt great, but oh….so dangerous.

Driving + a stupid teenage mind that is under the delusion that s/he is invincible and is incapable of hurting someone else while driving.
That was me. Fortunately (really unfortunately) a classmate ran over a little girl and went crazy with guilt. That was enough to shock me into realizing that I was driving a weapon, and I should treat it as such.

I’ve driven after having too much to drink. I’ve learned my limits now though.

Driving and texting or talking on the phone. Drinking and drugging also is bad. Me? I’m old fashion I guess. when I drive I’m sober, my cell phone turned off and I concentrate on driving. Never got a ticket in my life. not even a parking ticket.

I used to text while driving, which is obviously bad. I don’t anymore. I still eat while I drive, though, and guzzle down my protein shake three days per week. Let me tell you…eating a fruit and yogurt parfait from McDonalds while driving is no easy feat.

I’ve also done the oral while driving thing. I was giving, he was receiving. It sucked, no pun intended. He was too focused on not crashing the car to finish and my shoulder was killing me by the time I was done. We went home and finished there. Never again.
