How do I make it so that when I get new mail from Gmail it pops up on my screen?

It used to do this… I’m talking straight from Gmail too not with Mail for OSX

It’s an option in your GMail settings. I get popups on my Mac.

For future references…

1. Go to Gmail Account
2. Click the Gear aka Settings Tab and select Settings
3. Scroll down to Desktop Notifications and click On VOILAH!
