If you use a tablet to access Fluther, which version of the site do you see?

Please tell us which tablet you use, which OS it runs, and which browser(s) you use for Fluthering.

We have been contacted by someone who is not happy with version of the site that their tablet displays. My iPad 3 with iOS 7 using Google Chrome for iPad always shows me the full site: www.Fluther.com. Google Chrome for iOS on my iPhone 5s, also takes me to the full site (it’s a little tougher to see, but it’s beneficial for moderating). I just accessed the site in Safari on the iPhone, didn’t even log in, changed to “desktop” display, closed the browser, removed it from the queue, shut down and restarted the phone. When I opened Safari, it came back to the desktop site. In my case, it seems that the browsers remember my preference.

Another moderator states that their Samsung Galaxy Note (is that a tablet or a phone?) directs them to the mobile version of Fluther: i.Fluther.com. However, I am unsure whether it’s their preference, or which Android OS they have.

I am trying to help this person figure out how they can set their device to access the version of the site that they prefer, rather than getting redirected to the version that they like less and having to manually switch back every time. From what has been reported, they are on a Samsung tablet running Android, but no further details have been provided thus far.

Therefore, I’m trying to survey tablet-using Jellies about the behavior of their tablets, and whether they have found a way to have their browser default to one version or the other. If those who have more knowledge of Android for tablets could also help out, that would be appreciated. For example, since Android is Google’s OS, are there other browser options that are available from the Google Play Store?
