Which wig do you prefer?

I am getting married soon and I need to buy one to cover my hair with already but I can’t decide. These are two that I found that I like around my budget. Either one I will buy in the darkest brown and will need it to last at least 2–3 years with daily wear, regular amounts of washing + styling.

As a male, I prefer the first one. FWIW I have always been attracted to bangs but I also like the way it cascades.

I like the long and wavy one, I think it says “Angela style”. I’d prefer that.

The first one looks more natural. But why would you wear a wig?

They both look high maintenance to me, but I like #1 better.

I prefer #1 also.

Is there something wrong with your real hair? Will everyone attending think your wig is natural? Do you plan on wearing it throughout the reception? Is there a designated brides maid on wig patrol?

When exactly do you plan on taking the wig off? Kind of ruins the mood ya know.

@RealEyesRealizeRealLies It’s religion oriented. Probably Mideastern. ”...one to cover my hair with…”

The OP has another question about marital sex that is companion to this one.

I prefer the ‘Mazali Bliss’, myself. Looks silkier to me is the main difference.

And @RealEyesRealizeRealLies, how about we lay off the pre-judgement, I’m sure she has her reasons. And I think it’s next to impossible her fiance doesn’t know about it/her real hair.

It’s hard to say without seeing the shape if your face. If you can rock bangs, go for it. Not everyone can, though.
I have 4 wigs. All just for fun. A good wig is a good buy.

@GloPro is one of your four wigs a totally different color to your natural hair color?

ZEPHYRA's avatar

If you have the face for it, go with the first wig, in my opinion.

GloPro's avatar

@ZEPHYRA Yeah, one is bright blue. I wear it to rock concerts.

@BhacSsylan “And @RealEyesRealizeRealLies, how about we lay off the pre-judgement, I’m sure she has her reasons. ”

Where is the “pre-judgement” you accuse me of in my comments?

I made no accusations. I didn’t ask for “her reasons” either. She’s free to share without prompting. I asked real questions about potential issues that wig wearing brides should be aware of. As a photographer who’s shot countless weddings, I know that brides have a lot to deal with on their wedding day. Making sure your wig is on and straight, and consistent throughout the day is definitely something that should be addressed.

As for my link, may I remind you that this thread is in the “social section”. Were this question so serious, it should be in “general”.
