If we could remove certain people from our memory, would you want to do so?

We all have regrets and maybe a few people we wish we could forget, if you could have them erased from your memory, would you? Would you still be who you are today without them?

Can I remove her and her from my memory? My life would be better if those idiots didn’t exist.

Symbeline asked me why jellies gave this one jelly so much shit. I stopped to think about that. So I’m cutting more people slack. What can it hurt? And I’m learning a bit more.

Actually, there are some people that I just fucking want to forget. Some of my horrible teachers who did nothing but torture me (and maybe the class), some bad friends who just spent their time with me taking advantage of me, friends that lured me into putting all my trust to them then kicked me in the ass without mercy…

I can easily forget the two former types as I already don’t have any feeling to them. But the latter type, it’s kind of hard, since there are still good memories I had with them.

So, if I could, I would like to remove that latter type.

There are people in my past who deserve to disappear but I’ve learned from even the worst situations. The lessons might relate to things I’d rather not have experienced but I haven’t ever wanted the perpetrators to disappear or to have never existed.

And if the memories of those horrible people and the sadness or misery they caused disappeared, how would we protect ourselves from repeating the decisions that led to that bad situation? Our memories protect us by teaching us lessons that prevent us becoming victim to similar situations again (if we learn from our past).
