So I turned 20 today.... now what?

Asked by XCNuse (1197points) July 4th, 2008

Yep, my birthday started an hour ago, i’m no longer a teenager.
What do I get, a pat on the back from everyone saying i’m no longer a teenager but an adult and a congratulations?

What else do want? Enjoy your youth while you still can. One day you’ll blink and it will be gone.

Now what? Now nothing. It’s summer. What are you waiting for?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

You can start counting down the days until your next birthday. You will then be legal and can do more! So, ask us this question in a year and we will tell you what to do.

Truly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Enjoy your youth, but also think about what you could do to help make the world a better place. The best time to start making a difference is now and the world needs so much.

Tell us more about yourself and we can give you better advice.

Enjoy the day, XCNuse. As to the momentous nature of it in your mind, you will probably find that others do not share that feeling. These milestones are very personal.

Take stock of your life and decide where you are going. What do you want your first “adult” decade to look like? Personal goals? Career goals? Look around. There is now no one to decide, but you.

@ XCNuse Happy Birthday. Don’t sweat the small stuff, just enjoy the day. Marina gave some great advice.
