How to loom knit kitty ears?

I want to make kitty ears on a circle loom. Can I do this? If so, how? I can make hats but that’s all I really know how to do.

This looks like a really easy pattern.

Forewarning: I’ve never used a circle loom, but this looks really straightforward. Basically, knit a tube, then close up one end, and stitch the corners. Badabing – kitty hat.
