Are there good tech jobs in Toronto, Canada?

With only 5.8 million people living in the greater Toronto area, probably not.

I suppose, in contradistinction to what @gailcalled has suggested, there may really be good tech jobs in Toronto, or at least in the industrial parks around the city, if not downtown Toronto itself. However, I expect that only someone who can express himself (or herself) well, and can demonstrate that he or she actually has the skills and qualifications to perform such a job could actually attain it. (Some of the qualifications might be: “Can you write complete sentences?” and “How good is your focus and attention to detail?”)

Are you such a person? What is “a good tech job” in your view?
