Where are my pictures?

Asked by Dutchess_III (46807points) June 17th, 2014

On Friday we went to Oklahoma for a family reunion on Saturday. Rick and I stayed at a cabin until Monday. I must have shot 500 pictures Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I can pull them all up for review on the camera, but when I pull them up via the computer, to upload them, I only see the ones I shot on the first day, Friday. The last one is of a video I shot of my grand daughter on Friday. I shot pics after that, but the computer isn’t displaying them. Why not?

How and when did you up load them from the camera to the computer? And what program on the computer did you use?

Can you see them on the camera?

@Tropical_Willie Yes, I can see them on the camera.

@zenvelo I have tried to view them 2 ways on the computer. One is by going through my start button/computer/canon (external drive.) The other way is through the specific program that the computer brings up when I plug my camera into the CPU. Both ways it stops at that video, and shows nothing after that. However, I can see the pics via the camera, so they’re there. The computer just isn’t reading it….

Wait…I have a thought….maybe I wasn’t giving it enough time to get past the video….

If your computer “has” the video, delete it from the camera and start over.
