Where is the best place to swim on Lake Winnebago?

We are visiting Oshkosh, WI next week and staying near Lake Winnebago. Where is the best place to swim and rent jet skis? Also, I heard there is an algae problem and the lake make be unsafe to swim in at times. Any advice?

I don’t know about Jet Skis, but water temp this time of year is in the 50’s ( F ). Get a wet suit too.
