Is there a way to control your iPad with your iPhone or iPod touch?

Say you wanted to mount your iPad on the wall and use your iPhone or iPod touch as a remote control on it. Is this possible?

To my knowledge, no… but you can control a PC that way. But I don’t think iDevices support being controlled that way, only acting as the controller.
