Would you like to join me in raising a glass in salute of the career of Johnny Winter?

One hell of a guitar player is no longer with us. He died at 70.

I saw him from backstage jamming with Stevie Ray Vaughn in Austin in 1988. What a show!
Of course, he will be missed. He leaves a great legacy of recorded work.

The music world has lost a lot in the past couple of weeks. Seems like hardly more than a couple days go by between the tributes.

RIP Johnny Winter.
