Can my iPhone Safari browser download ANYTHING off the web?

Asked by FallenShip (17points) July 8th, 2008 from iPhone

I can’t find anything! Everytime I try to download anything no matter what the size, it says “Safari can’t download this file.”

i think in 2.0 you can download pictures and use them as wallpapers and put them in your photo library. but i could be wrong, i remember seeing it somewhere

Correct, my friend.

I was under the impression that in 2.0 you could only download pictures attached in an email, not pictures on a website.

And you can download lots of stuff, you’re doing it right now, but the point is, you can’t save it. You can download and view attachments in emails, PDF’s, but they’ll be discarded as soon as you’re finished with them.

@Bsilver, i believe its both, emails and off the web in 2.0, if i find the link i will let you know
