Can you buy an Amazon UK gift certificate with a US credit card?

My aunt lives in Germany. If she wants any English language material, she has to go through Amazon UK. She can’t use the US certificates on the UK site. I want to get her an Amazon UK gift certificate as a present. Can I buy one here with a US credit card?
