What would it take to get Firefly back on air?

I’ve decided that I should probably make it my life’s work.

It would take lots of money, and a huge audience. Not to mention the participation of a lot of creative people that have moved on to other projects.

Considering Firefly was already canceled and Serenity wasn’t even a big enough hit to warrant a sequel, you have a hard road ahead of you if you’re trying to bring Firefly back. It’s a shame it never caught on, it was one of my favorite shows ever.

But if you’re a Whedon fan, there’s a new show coming out that he created called DollHouse. I’m definitely going to be checking that out.

Mostly Whedon’s interest. He’s stated he’s done with it, the experience was too painful.

Actually, every time there is a thread on Fluther about shows prematurely canceled or favorite shows canceled, I am always amazed at how many Firefly freaks there are besides me.

I idly wondered if we should send Josh Whedon the links to the threads. Since you are making this your life’s work, feel free.

Good luck! If it comes back, I will watch it, and I would watch a Serenity sequel.
