Why wont my Wii connect to Wifi?

Three days ago I moved my Wii out of my room and into the entertainment room to play on the big TV. In there I had Internet, but it was a poorer signal than what was in my room, yesterday I moved it back. But when I tried to connect to Wifi I got an error on the game. So I went in through the Wii menu and checked my connection and I got another error saying could not connect. This was really weird because I was also on my MacBook, which was running off of Wifi at that very moment. I went back into the Wii and searched for an access point, thinking maybe some how I picked up my neighbor’s. There was mine, green with full bars ready to go. I clicked on it and again, no connection. Is there somthing wrong with my internet or is my Wii broken?
