Can I place a picture in with my question[s]?

Asked by Glad2bhear (209points) November 9th, 2014

Sometimes it’s helpful to insert a photo to describe a particular problem – “a picture is worth a thousand words.” I haven’t seen, or remember seeing, any pix in here so I thought I’d ask. Many other forums allow it. How about a link to an online photo?

Fluther does not have pictures on site but, you can link to a photo elsewhere. Like this

Link to an online by typing ” then a word, then ”: and your link. Use the double quotation, but otherwise it looks like this.

If I had used double quotes, the only thing you would see is the word this in red as a link.

The directions are under the yellow box as you type a post.

Took me forever to understand how to do it.

HA! I learned something…it works the same with single and double quote marks! When I typed the answer, it showed in the preview box the same as the type box. Much like bracketing a word with + will underline it, but only after-the-fact.
