What do you think. You could pussy out and let it go. Or you could fight for it. Come on you pussy.

Guess people are still busy with Thanksgiving aftermath right now.

All the people who said they don’t shop on Black Friday are out shopping.~

Did someone say pussy?

ucme's avatar

Possibly, ain’t it quaint?

30 to 50 regular users. It is what it is. We’re what’s called “an intimate gathering.”

I’m just coming out of my L-tryptophan coma. ~

You know what’s annoying as crap about Fluther? When it has server issues and it’s really slow. I would think that would be a turnoff to new users.

SavoirFaire's avatar

@jca We’ve already let Ben know. But servers slow down sometimes. There’s nothing to be done about it other than to reset them when they do.

jca's avatar

@SavoirFaire: Yes, I understand. I still find it annoying. That’s my opinion.

It’s just one of the periodic lulls. If upset, ask a challenging question or two.

I’m in an “in & out” mode….not happy with the recent stupid drama I have experienced here and waiting to see how it is handled. I have always loved Fluther but my time here may be limited after the nonsense of this week.
I have better things to do than deal with internet lunatics.

@Coloma: I wish Augie was here with her whip.

Turns out It hasn’t, must be just you.

Forums, in general, are experiencing a drop in participation because:

1. There’s a lot more competition for people’s time from other types of social media.
2. It’s been years since there’s been major forum improvements that grab attention.
3. Search engines are getting really good.
4. Web sites have become so much more dynamic.

Trickling activity and busted up servers, isn’t this common Fluther fanfare by now? :p

Pachy's avatar

@jca, I get to see Augie on Friday in Austin. Hope she isn’t carrying her whip! :-)

Pachy's avatar

Winding down? ... nah. Just you, @ibstubro, projecting.

dappled_leaves's avatar

@Pachy Please give her a hug from all of us – will that visit earn you a Guacamole Award?

@Adirondackwannabe & @marinelife & @Pachy

You might notice that when feel like there is a serious down tick in Fluther activity, there is usually an up-tick in my questions. I don’t worry about challenging so much as engaging, if possible.

That said, the next 3+ days are off limits for internet, by and large.

@ibstubro Yeah, that’s what I noticed when you asked this question, hence my answer. My impression is that some have misinterpreted this question.

SavoirFaire's avatar

@Coloma The “drama” was resolved before you even posted your answer.

My ex-girlfriend used to regularly ask me, “What’s wrong?”. Prior to her asking me the question, I was happy as could be. After the question, not so much.

Yay..I’m a free bird again!
