What should I do in Laguna Beach?

I’m looking for music and fun. For a date (with a third wheel).

Laguna used to be a lot more funky & bohemian (in the days of “The Greeter.” There’s three things that I think are must-dos:
• Stroll the downtown backstreets and check out the little shops
• Eat at Royal Thai on PCH
• Watch the sunset or have a bonfire at Thousand Steps beach
