Um, does it have to be a Fluther member’s home?

Broken_EarthAngel's avatar

@Dutchess_III Im just having a lil fun with my question, your answer is totally up to you.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

If I have time, I’m throwing supplies, firearms, and survival gear in the car and heading to luckyguys. Otherwise, I just hunker down here. I’m pretty well setup for a blizzard.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I think I would like to go to SQEEKY2, because if anyone can drive us out of a blizzard, he can.

chyna's avatar

I’m going to @luckyguy’s too, aka McGyver.

longgone's avatar

For safety: Our formerly worried guy, because he’d be perfectly prepared.

For food: Our spice girl, because she’s a vegetarian and her entire family can cook.

For comfort: The penguin, because I want to visit her anyway.

There’s lots of others I’d like to visit for lengthly talks, but during a blizzard, that’s my selection.

<—- Getting more supplies.

I’m all set with gasoline, heating oil, wood, water, food, and ammo. I guess I’ll need to get more tissues, toilet paper, and toothpaste.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Ok, then we get SQUEEKY2 to round everybody up, load them in his semi and bring them to your place @LuckyGuy!

jonsblond's avatar

I’d choose @Coloma’s for brownies and good times.

chyna's avatar

@LuckyGuy Do you have one of those trays with dividers so my food won’t touch or should I bring my own?

Earthbound_Misfit's avatar

I’m going to @LuckyGuy‘s place and I’m picking @Kardamom up on the way. Even when we get down to the last supplies, I’m pretty sure she’ll whip up an edible feast.

syz's avatar

Hawaii! ( :( Does a former Fluther count?)

Coloma's avatar

I’ll stay right here at the ranch. Plenty of firewood, stocked freezers and pantry, spacious house and brownies!
Well..I’d have to make some, maybe herbal pumpkin muffins this time of year.
@jonsblond Well come on over, we’re expecting a big storm Weds. night through Thurs.:-)

tedibear's avatar

Yup, also headed to @LuckyGuy‘s home if I have to go anywhere. However, we are also well supplied, have a whole house generator and between the two of us, can MacGyver anything we need to.

Mimishu1995's avatar

I would tag along with @Adirondackwannabe

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@LuckyGuy Bet you didn’t realize your just like the old woman in “The Stand”.

Earthbound_Misfit's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe lol. Are you coming to @Lucky’s place too? I know he has a shack, but I hope he has lots of room other than that.

chyna's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe I was thinking the same thing! I loved that book.

janbb's avatar

Meet me at Lucky’s place, we’re gonna have a party!

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

Well, we can build some log cabins if you don’t mind working in the snow.

Dutchess_III's avatar

SQUEEKY2! Where the hell are you? We gotta hit the road, Jack!

Mimishu1995's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe Yay! I love to build snowman!

FutureMemory's avatar

I’d head over to Coloma’s. I’m a California boy but I’m sick of cities, so her ranch sounds perfect. Plus only women have said they going there so far ^_^.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Mimishu1995 Can I make my snowman anatomically correct?

Mimishu1995's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe You can use yourself as a model :p

Dutchess_III's avatar

Yes @Adirondackwannabe. My parents made a female snow woman anatomically correct. Well, she had boobs, anyway. They both got such a kick out of that! I was about 14, just shaking my head.

Dutchess_III's avatar

If it’s a boy snowman, remember we woman don’t really care for GIANT packages!

ragingloli's avatar

@satan
his home is nice and warm

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

Laughs, @Mimishu1995 @Dutchess_III Yeah but what about melting?

Dutchess_III's avatar

Well, it happens in everyone’s life @Adirondackwannabe!

Broken_EarthAngel's avatar

lol What is this, The conversation Room?? jk :)

ucme's avatar

Can’t decide, i’ll make up my mind the day after tomorrow.

UnholyThirst's avatar

I would be thrilled to have you all over for dinner…

Especially you, Broken.

OpryLeigh's avatar

Definitely @Coloma‘s place. Firstly I think she’d show her guests a great time and secondly, every time it read about her life in the mountains I’m insanely jealous!

Coloma's avatar

@OpryLeigh Haha…well, I would show you a great time, a working vacation maybe.
Here, have a manure rake and after we’re done mucking stalls we can have a few cocktails.

Dutchess_III's avatar

^^^And brownies?

Coloma's avatar

Yes, whistle while you work. lol

ucme's avatar

She ain’t here no more, so I guess i’ll take my chances, least i’ll remain sane :D

Dutchess_III's avatar

Who’s not here any more?

ucme's avatar

The “contact” i’d seek refuge with…duh!

Dutchess_III's avatar

WELL WHO IS IT????

ucme's avatar

I’d have thought i’d have named her immediately had I wanted to.

Adagio's avatar

Life at @Coloma‘s sounds just perfect to me, so I would head over there. You do have a big raging fire waiting don’t you? And a nice old comfy armchair? Of course you do…

jca's avatar

I’m joining @Adirondackwannabe, @janbb, et al at @LuckyGuy‘s house. I’ll bring toilet paper. I know there’s deer meat aplenty in the yard. I know with two strong, smart guys at the helm, we can last a long time.

LuckyGuy's avatar

Just for the record, I do not live in a shack. It is a comfortable house. All that fuel, wood, generators, well, etc. is at my home. Come on over. I can find room.
I do have a place in the Southern tier (about 75 miles away) but that has no services: just a trailer, unlimited wood, a pond and wildlife.

@jca I’ll bet the TP will come from CostCo.

Coloma's avatar

For sure we need @LuckyGuy

I can handle a lot but he would be great for fire starting and collecting dryer lint for the kindling fuel. lol
I think the best of both worlds would be the east coast/west coast pioneer pow wow.
A month out west here then we all go to @LuckyGuy and @Adirondackwannabe‘s for the east coast ranch party.

@LuckyGuy, this bag of dryer lint is for your thrifty use. haha

Coloma's avatar

@Adagio I have been so busy this morning I haven’t even made a fire yet. After horse chores it feels really warm in here now. haha
No easy chairs but 3 big Navaho couches, a woodstove and huge kitchen and bar for all our food and comfort needs. :-) Just ignore the boot trays by the sliding door, and the goose poo on the patio. lol

Coloma's avatar

@jca The toilet paper lady. haha

I have a giant box of paper towels, delivered yesterday from amazon prime. I haven’t opened it yet but the box is 4 feet tall. lol
No worries about spills and messes here for months.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Broken_EarthAngel Uggh, you would have to ask this question. I had a doctor’s appointment today in Cooperstown. Guess what hits the East? A winter storm. I wake up to 12inches on the ground and it’s coming down hard. Thanks. :)

Berserker's avatar

Pfft yeah right, I don’t need yooz guys, I’d have a crappy old shack where I’d knock back mead and raise dragons like Hagrid does.

jca's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe: I’d love to wake up to 12 inches. ;)

Coloma's avatar

^^^ LOL
It’s a 2 pussy night here.
Stuffling cats under covers. lol

Brian1946's avatar

@jca

“I’d love to wake up to 12 inches. ;)”

Don’t you get enough snow in your part of NY state?

>>Whooosh!>> Innuendo goes over Bri’s head. ;-p
