Jelly a legitimate thing, it’s an app of a Q&A platform.

Maybe @orbutsbi is the username that Stu uses for that app and maybe he’s just sharing that info so we’ll recognize him if we go there. (Just speculation, that, I have no idea.)

Sorry, meant to link that. Jelly is a legitimate thing.

This is not spam. “Jelly” is an app created by Fluther co-founder Ben. An old thread talking about this.

I haven’t tried it, but I now wonder whether @ibstubro has ;)

I don’t have the necessary media to try Jelly but I wish I did. It sounds a lot like a reinvention of Fluther to a large extent.

ibstubro reports that the old PC crashed taking passwords with it. Hopefully temporarily.

Sorry the pooter died Stu, contact Mods.

The Jelly App requires an Android or iPhone Smartphone with a minimum level OS.

I’ve never tried Jelly, but I might now that I have a mobile device that is actually functional. Based on a previous conversation here on Fluther, I don’t expect to find the same sort of “community” feel that Fluther has (or had).

@Buttonstc I think almost all of the modded responses were about stu’s new identity, so pretty far off-topic.

I tried it and I wasn’t a fan. It wasn’t horrible, but there wasn’t much about it that held my attention – and it definitely has much less of a community vibe.

@orbutsbi I’m so sorry for mistaking you for a troll and making a fuss. I let my assumption get the best of me. Sorry for the whole attack you had to take.

And to answer the question, I haven’t tried it. And right now I don’t have a working device to actually try it. How was your experience @orbutsbi?

I missed the whole thing @Mimishu1995.

I have NOTHING required to try Jelly!

Yes, we have discussed the Jelly App on Fluther, and we have no problem with people expressing their opinions of that product. Here’s a few:
http://www.fluther.com/161698/are-biz-stone-and-ben-finkel-reviving-fluther-with-jelly/
http://www.fluther.com/167796/is-our-doctor-jelly-jealous-of-the-new-jelly-on-the/
http://www.fluther.com/167795/anybody-hear-about-the-new-twitter-mobile-app-jelly/
http://www.fluther.com/168013/is-biz-stones-qampa-app-jelly-affiliate-with-fluther-at-all/
http://www.fluther.com/170418/no-but-seriously-what-is-the-difference-between-jelly-and-fluther/

Personally, I haven’t tried it since it first launched, so I’m unsure whether they’ve changed it in ways that I might like it better. If they still require the app to be linked to a social network account, I won’t use it. I dislike when programs or sites want to inter-connect my accounts as a vehicle for digging into my information or as a platform for advertising their product associated with my name. If one’s product is good, there will be actual word-of-mouth sharing; creating that falsely by tapping into accounts on other platforms is underhanded, in my opinion.

P.S. – The moderation in this thread has been for comments about users and usernames or comments about the moderation itself. We ask that conversations about others and similar gossiping are restricted to private messages (PMs), and that questions about moderation are directed to the Mod Team via the Contact button: www.Fluther.com/Contact. Thanks!

More to less.
The new system has a spotty keyboard and all the old drive is a complete loss including passwords and bookmarks.
On the upside all the pics and business forms are on an external drive.
