Any easy way to add movies to AppleTV remotely?

I'm interested in getting tech-impaired in-laws an AppleTV. Any easy way I can add movies to it over Internet connection? I'd prefer software hacks over hardware.

The simplest way I can think of, is syncing the Apple TV to a computer with iTunes & then just drag & drop movies into iTunes.
