Are there any cartoon characters that have a different change of clothes for each episode?

Or do all cartoon characters have an entire closet full of the same outfit?

I doubt it. Too much work for the character designers.
Besides, your character needs to be instantly recognisable and a different outfit every episode would run counter to that.

This girl. I utterly admire how much clothes she has in hand. Almost every episode is her fashion show.

Hong Kong Phooey was a master of the skies, great pilot…wait, make that master of disguise.
He’d constantly switch attire (not a mechanic) from mild mannered janitor to judo clad ninja via all manner of outfits.

The characters in As Told By Ginger always wore different outfits.

Anime characters change clothes often, especially the female ones.

Hmmm…seems like all the examples are geared more towards adults. Wonder if they think kids can’t handle a wardrobe change for a character? Is it really that confusing? Or even that time consuming?

@fluthernutter Not all anime characters are adults. Most are teens.

Honk Kong Phooey very much a children’s cartoon.

@fluthernutter and I think my girl comes from a children’s cartoon too. Google “Xiauling Showdown”.

@kritiper I meant that anime tends to be geared towards a more mature audience. Post grade school.

@ucme Yes! Yours is definitely a kids show. I think I may have given it a mental exemption because changing clothes was part of the show itself. Not that he was just some normal dude who changed his clothes like we do.

@Mimishu1995 I’m not familiar with the show or the network. Is it more geared towards grade school? Or an older audience like Cartoon Network?

@fluthernutter OK, but you didn’t specify audience age in your question, only “any”. Not trying to make an issue out of this, just sayin’...

@kritiper I wasnt trying to only get specific answers. I was just thinking aloud after reading the answers that I got. :)
