What kind of a person would lie in this manner?

Asked by dopeguru (1928points) February 5th, 2015

I am just wondering, what kind of a person would tell a woman he likes her and kisses/holds her, and the next day dumps her with an utter blank and emotionless face for the reason he doesn’t like her much/enough.

Who does this? I am having disbelief that anyone in their right mind would be this disgusting and deceiving.

I personally couldn’t go on living if I have acted like this toward someone who opened their heart immensely to me.

Perhaps you should wait until you’ve matured a bit more before you date exclusively (as opposed to in groups). Seriously.

This is your third sex/dating/emotional attachment question in a week. Why don’t you back off for a month and just hang with friends instead or all this worry about sex and boys?

@ibstubro This could’ve been a friend? Im not personally frustrated anymore, I’m just curious on how a human can behave like that. And no, I don’t trust anyone anymore so I can’t just hangout and pretend humans are amazing. I also go out with friends, and continue my life and job. I’m not going to pretend like this bad treatment didn’t exist. I need to learn from it, so I am asking: what kind of a person would do this?

That quip that a guy will do and say whatever it takes to get laid is more than an old wive’s tale.
Men, and particularly young men are wired to chase after sex, and some are literally “driven” a lot harder than others. The lives ruined and wreckage strewn in the wake of the “urge” stand in testament to the hazards confronting us in matters of “love”. Those who manage to navigate their way through and come out intact are just plain lucky!

Most men because of testosterone are horndogs. many but not all young men like the thrill of the chase and as soon as they they achieve sexual gratification they tend to move on to look for their next conquest.

Someone (male) who just wanted sex.

An asshole. It’s not as simple as “testosterone made them do it”, because that it far too simple of an answer. Don’t let anyone lean on their hormones as an excuse for behavior. Although it’s true that testosterone can makes a lot of things difficult for young men and women, it’s not, ultimately, a legitimate excuse.

Unfortunately, there’s also not an easy answer for what makes someone an asshole. The most you can do is learn from it. Know that there are assholes who will take advantage of you just because they can, but also know that not all men (or people) are the same way. It’s good to be cautious about people, as long as it doesn’t make you give up forever. Next time, just take your time, think everything through, and don’t open up to someone until they give you good reasons to do so.

You need to get this guy out of your life. You are wasting far too much time on someone who doesn’t like you.

Trust but verify. That means, trust your attraction to a person who might fall into the category of young horndog, but watch him for awhile before you give him any kind of encouragement.

And yes, the answer to your question is: young horndog.
