Is there a way to run the output from a ps3 game through a usb headset?

Here’s what I want to do: Have a full usb headset with mic to play multiplayer online, and have both the voice com and all game sounds to come through the headset. I’ve poked around the setting but don’t see how to do this.

You’re going to have to change your sound output from the computer’s speaker to the headset. Or alternatively there may be a setting in the game preferences. The specifics depend on your computer setup and the type of game. Good luck, it does sound important. You might Google the specific game and sound output.
