Pinto, garbanzo, black, and white: Have you heard of any other types of bean dip?

Asked by Strauss (23618points) April 9th, 2015

I’m cooking up a batch of garbanzo beans, to use for home made bean dip. As I was preparing the ingredients, it occurred to me that there are at least four types of beans I know of to use for bean dip. That would be garbanzo (chickpea), black beans, white beans, and of course pintos. Have you tasted or prepared any other type of bean dip or paste?
