How to download personal unity not via UnityDownloadAssistant?

You have to download the installer first before you can install Unity. You can’t get around that. Go here http://unity3d.com/ and click Get Unity. Then scroll down and click on Free Download. That will download the installer. Run the installer to install Unity. Remember that once your product generates $100,000 in revenue, you’ll have to pay the $75 per month license fee regardless whether you downloaded the personal edition or the professional edition
