Do you have suggestions for a good ipad mini case?

It doesn’t matter what brand or type, although I’m thinking one with a keyboard.

I don’t have an answer for you, but am following for recommendations. I bought a Smart Cover, mainly because it was the cheapest option at the time and I needed something to cover the screen right away.

The main drawback of this cover is that there’s no way to fold it into a useful stand. The angle it leans at when it’s folded forces you to either hold it or lie over it – so it’s fairly pointless in that respect. I would like to be able to remove it and fold it into something that puts the pad into vertical position to watch media on.

I don’t miss having a cover for the back – in that sense, I’m glad I didn’t pay more for something that would cover the whole device.

Edited to add: I looked at covers with keyboard when I was shopping, and ultimately decided it wasn’t worth carrying the keyboard. If typing is uncomfortable, note that you can split the keyboard to type with thumbs, which is much easier than using one finger. Finding this out made typing a lot easier for me!

I got one for $5 at the ”$5 and under” store. No keyboard, but it does fold into a stand.
