When an assessment company is doing a bridge assessment, what kind of things are they looking for/at when assessing the bridge?

What kind of bridge are we talking about here?

If you’re talking a spanning structure, they will be looking at the original design and specifications, maintenance logs, repair reports, etc. They will carefully inspect current condition looking for wear or any indication that the structural integrity may be compromised. I’ve given a generic response since I don’t know if you’re talking a Golden Gate type bridge or a bridge crane. I’ll leave the dental apparatus, card game and other varieties to others.
