(NSFW) Is it safe to only date tall women? (Details inside)?

Asked by talljasperman (21916points) May 14th, 2015

If I have children I wonder if having a child with a shorter woman would kill her or be painful? I’m 197 cm tall and I had problems with dating a shorter woman 15 years ago. I’m thinking about the movie ~ Alien with the Alien ripping itself out to be born. ~

I’m 6 ft tall, and my wife is 4 ft. 9 in. Both of our kids were delivered by C-section because her pelvis was too small to allow the head to pass safely. Doctors can see these problems coming way before they reach a crisis point.

I had pretty much the same situation as @thorninmud only I am not quite as shrimpy as his wife. Two Caesarean sections.

I think you have a ways to go before worrying about your wife being too short to deliver your babies.

@janbb I don’t even have a girlfriend. Just pondering with all the spare time that I have.

The question is puzzles me coming from man. When I was dating, the thought of children never occurred to me until my dates would bring it up. And that brings up another issue, because after the second or 3rd date most women would quiz me about my plans for parenthood. It took me much longer than it should have to understand that women view dates as auditions.

Babies are born with really short limbs, so you probably should not worry. But it you had an abnormally huge head…

Not to worry about the baby due to be delivered. It all depends on the size of the baby & the condition of the mother to give birth. If the mother cannot give birth naturally, there is always Caesaran method.
