Can someone track down a simple timeline of the history of the earth?

I’m looking for a single line that shows how long each era was, compared to the current era that produced humans. I’ve looked and looked, had no luck so far.

If I remember correctly, this illustration was a part of the original Cosmos series (with Carl Sagan) as well as the update with Neil DeGrasse Tyson so it might be found on their websites or the Cosmos website.

It was pretty awesome to see how much of the Earth’s history predated mankind who occupied a tiny sliver of the last section. It really drove the point home.

Why would something so simple be so hard to find??

I did one in college, and yes, it was incredible.

I want a picture. Just a line picture that compares the length of the eras.

Much better! That will work. Thanks.
