Never been there, but there’s gotta be a lake somewhere in Alberta. The provinces I have visited have millions of them.

If your mom has a bad knee, hiking is out, unless you have a place nearby which rents motorized chairs. That means fishing would be too tough, and shopping should be decided ahead to reduce walking. Art in the park does sound like fun. Would that be a long walk involved? I hope not.

I think, the movie is a good idea to refresh your mind and your mum too. Have a nice day with your mom. Enjoy it.

@Here2_4 I figured that would be an activity his Mom might enjoy! The shops are air conditioned and she does not have to walk far.
I like going to local shops. There is always something interesting.

So, how was the visit? The birthday? Did she find you a freakin bed that fits?? A couch long enough to nap on?

She found a clearance sale couch. Will get it delivered on Tuesdays with a carpet. We went to a couple of restaurants. Also we talked for an hour.

@rojo no. I never heard about it. I want to go home to Jasper. I’m in a guilded cage. I’m all stressed out and lonely. I’m trying to sleep it off.
